He's been known to take long-distance shots, but this one might be the farthest out there.

NBA superstar Stephen Curry said he does not believe the U.S. landed on the moon, according to a podcast Monday.

The Golden State Warriors guard made the comments when he was a guest on the "Winging It" podcast, according to The New York Times.

Curry asked one of the hosts if he believed that the U.S. landed on the moon. When the host said no, Curry agreed, but said he didn't want to "start conspiracies."

Despite insurmountable evidence to the contrary, conspiracy theorists have claimed for years that man did not walk on the moon, that the landings were fake.

Conspiracy theories have continued to pop up since man first walked on the moon on July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first men to ever set foot on the lunar surface.

A proposed Russian mission to the moon will apparently include a task to verify that the American moon landings were actually real, a top Russian space official joked last month.

Later on in the podcast, another host said "do the research on Stanley Kubrick," referring to a story that the involved NASA hiring the famous director to stage and film the Apollo and 12 moon landings, but there is no evidence for this theory, according to The San Francisco Chronicle.

NASA, upon hearing Curry's doubts, has invited the star point guard to tour their lab, the report said. NASA landed on the moon six times between 1969 to 1972, becoming the only space agency to accomplish a manned moon mission, The Times reported.

"We'd love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets," said Allard Beutel, a NASA spokesman. “We have hundreds of pounds of moon rocks stored there, and the Apollo mission control. During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago, as well as what we’re doing now to go back to the moon in the coming years, but this time to stay.”

Kyrie stated publicly he believed the world was flat, but recently backtracked on those comments.

I think these players get interviewed so much they go off on random tangents to get some headlines.

Steph went to Davidson, he's no dummy. Most likely having some fun with the interviewers.

while I believe Curry to be no dummy either, just because someone goes to Davidson or any other college for that matter does not mean they are not a dummy. I know a lot of educated dummies.

It is amazing that back about 60 years ago that craft had hovercraft abilities when we can barely do that now with our technology. And the craft hovercrafted down to the moon surface and didn't strike up any dust. Zero. It just landed perfectly without raising up even specs of dust. But astronaut footprints made huge fingerprints on the moon. Amazing technology!

We just put a device on Mars. Could they do that 60 years ago?

You're going to try to convince the guy that spends all day putting stock into every conspiracy he can find that the moon landing was legit. Don't waste your time.

You did nothing to refute my point? Care to talk about how PatFanatic could hovercraft down and not kick up any dust? I know you have magical powers, but did they have the magical powers that PatFan has?

Did you ever watch the video of their celebration back on Earth? It's obvious something was wrong....

This is undeniable footage, IMO. Have you ever seen a team win a championship and act like this? Achieving a moon landing is about a 1,000 bigger event than winning the Superbowl. But they act like they just lost the Superbowl. Why?

I have lots of ties to NASA, my son worked as an intern there, and I'm good friends with the guy that answered the phone at NASA during
Apollo 13 when the astronauts called and said "Houston, we have a problem" (he's in his 70's now).

I guess according to the conspiracy nuts, my friend is in on this, and is sworn to a lifetime of secrecy.

Sigh.

My cousin worked for the government. Kennedy was assassinated. Therefore, there was no way the CIA was involved. Are you saying my cousin killed Kennedy?

Conspiracy blow job.

Sigh.

Some people just can't even begin to open their minds to question. Their open their minds to the tranny experience being pushed by the media, but they won't question anything. Go trannies!

Zit, I know we don't get along or play nice...but as a fellow human being could you just tell runmaker he is right, and he is always right...

Runmaker, I know you cant see this, but buddy you are definitely not mentally ill, you are just before your time, you are a genius! We definitely didn't land on the moon and JFK was killed by his son JFK jr. and then he was murdered...he wasn't killed in no plane crash.

Nothing wrong with questioning the status quo. But, one must be able to objectively analyze the evidence on both sides in the process.
